- Groups shall be determined by random number.
- During the group stage, the game format to be used shall best out 3 game to 21, unless otherwise specified.
- Where participants are called to their match, they shall be given 2 minutes to turn up for their matches. If 2 minutes has passed and one side is not available to play, then the side that is present is declared to have won the match with a maximum score line to 0 points for the side that was absent.
- The whole pool of participants of the category will be ranked based on wins, points, and point differences. Should there be ties after all these factors are accounted for, the participants with the higher random number shall go through.
- The number of pairs going to the eliminations shall depend on the elimination rounds they start at but will be subject to change by the organisers based on schedule and court availability. Rough guide as follows:
1. Group Stage (Round-robin)
- Groups:
- Number of groups: 6 (4 teams per group)
- Each team plays every other team in their group.
