Welcome to The Wire Club
Founded in May 2024, The Wire was created with a clear purpose: to attract and bring together the best local badminton talent. Competing in both the Hunts & Peterborough League and the South Cambridgeshire League, we pride ourselves on maintaining a high standard of play and fostering a competitive yet friendly environment.
We welcome upper-intermediate and advanced players to join us at our club nights. Please note: The Wire is not a beginners club. Our sessions are designed for experienced players seeking to challenge themselves and improve alongside strong competition.
To ensure fairness and a balanced playing experience, we use an electronic peg board system for court rotation, scorekeeping, and stat tracking.
Interested in joining? Prospective members are required to attend three trial sessions before being considered for membership.
If you're serious about badminton and ready to play at a higher level, The Wire Club is the place for you.
